My adult children left home a few years ago and my social circle seemed to be depleting, I just wanted to have fun and meet new people. My friend Paul encouraged me to attend the Affinity Launch and I am SO grateful I went! Upon arrival I was anxious, self conscious and out of my comfort zone but I was made to feel SO welcome! Met some.incredible humans! Had such a laugh! I even started playing a party game with the balloons! I am proudly over 17 years sober and clearly do not need to drink to have fun! Attended several events and have lots upcoming too! Come.and join us! Best thing I did!

I was introduced to this group as I recently moved to Nottingham and had no friends here. After a short period of time, I have been out several times doing various activities. I have also experienced new things in life. Most importantly, I have met lots of wonderful people, and now have made some amazing friends too. I’ve attended quite a few events now, from dinners to drinks, and every one has been a great experience. Everyone is genuinely friendly and welcoming. Walking into a room where you don’t know anyone can feel a little daunting at first, but the hosts and members go out of their way to make you feel included from the moment you arrive.
One thing I particularly like is that the groups are a good size, not too large so you have the chance to chat and connect with most people. The hosts clearly care about creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring no one feels left out.
My only complaint is that there are so many great events to choose from that I can’t attend them all 😂
I’m really glad I joined and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to meet new people and enjoy some fantastic social events.
